I am in the market looking for a remote training collar for my 2 yr old
pitbull is quite stubborn and usually goes all in my backyard eating
whatever he to stick in his mouth. This will be a great help to deter him
from acting out.

I disagree. Two weeks ago I adopted a dog that had been a stray. He’s a
great dog and I’ve been working hard with him making lots of progress. He
is already great on a leash and obedient in other close circumstances. The
problem is, that when he gets of the leash and gets going, it is very very
difficult to get his attention and keep him from just running as he
pleases. I’m currently shopping for a shock collar because this
unacceptable behavior cannot continue; most importantly for his safety.

Get a life you dont know anything about them. Do you know anything about

This is NOT “all about the dog”, it’s all about do as I command or I will
shock you repeatedly. It’s also, like many others, all about selling their
particular brand of shock collar. Such an ignorant way to communicate with
your dog.

Poor dog looks scared. I feel sorry for the dogs that have owners using
this shock collars. This is jus cruelty to animals. Plain and simple.

A knowledgeable and compassionate dog trainer would see the distress he is
causing the dogs and not use this method. A skilled trainer would not need
to use this method.

Have any of you actually put one on yourself? Put it on your head so you
can feel it for real because putting it on your skin will obviously hurt
more. It. Doesn’t. Hurt. I’m the biggest wuss when it comes to any kind of
pain (I’ll sob over a papercut) but the collar just made me jump a little,
startled. It got my attention, it didn’t hurt. It’s good for dogs that “get
lost” in instinct and are hard to redirect.

@MusicMotives i have seen you trolling on several e collar vids. you
obviously are fairly ignorant regarding dog behavior in general. before you
waste any more of ur energy being confused and venting on comments
sections, do some research on the difference between a “correction” and
“hitting” your dog. dogs correct each other all the time in a pack setting.
the concept is as natural to the dog as talking is to humans. happy
researching!
